Aquatic Group Exercise Class Schedule

All Aquatic Group Exercise Class fees are included with an Active Y Membership

Community Member - $45.00 per month, includes all classes during that calendar month

Early Bird Water Workout

Learn different and exciting moves from our different instructors in this total body workout class. This class encompasses every type of water workout imaginable; from salsa in the water, to some relaxing yoga and meditation time.

Water Aerobics

Get ready to movee your body with a great cardio workout without the stress and strain that accompanies land exercise. Have fun while you get your heart pumping and body moving as you experience the great atmosphere of weightlessness and water resistance.

Water Pump

Receive total body muscle enhancement as you “pump” your body through a workout unlike any other.  Start toning and strengthening muscles using professional water resistant equipment.

Special Needs / Arthritis Exercise

Created through the National YMCA and the Arthritis Foundation, this program will provide benefits for people with disabilities and for individuals who want to increase overall well-being.  It provides a full body workout aimed at increasing flexibility and range of motion. Whether you have achy joints, acute or chronic medical conditions and physical disabilities or just need exercise, this low-impact class is for you. PHYSICIAN CONSENT FORM REQUIRED

Water Tai Chi

Stretching in the water will help reduce tension, improve coordination and keep joints fluid. You will learn the proper form with concise instruction in a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere in a 30-minute class format.

Water Walking

Walk your way to better health.  This 30-minute class will help you burn calories, strengthen muscles, increase endurance and improve range of motion.

Water Yoga

Experience a blend of static and flowing movements. Enhance flexibility, strength, breathing and body awareness while connecting the mind and body. Includes a creative blend of traditional postures; Warrior, Eagle, Cobra, 1/2 Moon, Tree and more. Standing poses most benefit the body by improving balance, core stability, flexibility and focus. Suspended and floating poses are primarily to improve joint mobility, muscle coordination, overall strength and relaxation. Great for all ages.
