Group Exercise Classes

 

CARDIO/AEROBIC CLASSES:

Senior Aerobics LVL 2&3: An advanced group exercise class designed for active adults who desire a safe and effective low-impact cardiovascular workout. Energizing and easy-to-follow movements promote heart-healthy, total-body conditioning to increase cardiovascular and muscular endurance. In addition, a variety of strength training options are offered to provide a well-rounded workout.

Beginner Step LVL 1&2: Class focus is on cardio while working you mentally and physically…aiming to improve coordination and muscle tone.  Participants will step up and down on a platform that is adjustable from 4” to 12”, utilizing step patterns that will move them around the platform in a creative way.

Zumba All LVL: Get ready to dance. This is a Latin inspired fitness class. Zumba uses specific Latin moves to give you the ultimate dance workout.

Zumba Gold LVL 1: A Latin based cardio dance class that fuses Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves specifically designed for the mature population.  Classes include the Merengue, salsa, hip-hop and more international dances from around the world.

Zumba Toning All LVL: A dynamic Zumba class that uses choreography and light hand weights to focus on toning specific muscle groups. If you’re looking to pump up your cardio or add some strength and toning work to you routine, try this class.

Spin All LVL: Do you want to train like an athlete, ride like a racer, and find your inner competitor? Jump on a bike and ride to the driving beats that will improve your cardio endurance and muscular strength. This low impact/high intensity workout will leave you drenched in sweat, yet inspired to come back for more! (Wear form fitting clothes, stiff soles shoes, bring a towel and water to remain properly hydrated).

AIM Aerobics/Core All LVL: Fun and fitness combined to increase cardiovascular and muscular endurance with a standing circuit workout. Strength work is alternated with non-impact aerobics choreography.

Total body Burnout: The one stop body shock that combines easy, yet effective cardio routines, interlaced with weights and resistance work.

HIIT-45: HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.

Tabata: Tabata training is one of the hottest trends to build muscle and scorch body fat. Timed intervals will blast calories, but don’t worry - there is recovery, too! Intervals typically run at a 20sec max pace followed by a 10sec recovery time.

 

STRETCH/YOGA CLASSES

Beginners Yoga LVL 1:  This is an alternative way to improve balance and flexibility with the utilization of traditional and basic yoga poses. Classes are designed to provide yoga fitness for ALL levels.

Yoga LVL 2&3: The basic postures introduced in Beginning Yoga will serve as our foundation for each class sequence. Modifications are suggested as needed. Some yoga experience is helpful, although not required.

TAI CHI All LVL: Tai Chi is a century old system of health and self-defense. It is thought of as “new age dance.” Through a series of postures, you will learn how to relax and move towards optimal health in addition to life protection benefits.

 

STRENGTH CLASSES

Ball Strength and Stability All LVL: Integrated muscle training is used to work every muscle in the body on the BOSU to whittle the middle, build strong lean muscle, and create a hard core. Cardio, strength and abdominals training for all fitness levels.

Body Sculpt LVL 1&2: A 45-minute cardiovascular strength-training class designed to make you lean and defined providing a results-oriented whole body workout. Build and sculpt muscles, strengthen your core, improve your strength and flexibility while burning fat and calories by using just one set of light/medium dumbbells.

Mat Pilates: This class involves a series of classical Pilates exercises performed on a mat without equipment. Whether you’re a beginner or expert practitioner, this mat workout will strengthen the core, tone the hips and thighs, and flatten the abs.

Sit & Be Fit ALL LVL: This class is designed to take your body through a full workout focusing on balance and strength. This class is designed to be done with the assistance of a chair for balance if needed. 

XSport: This is one hot training class that combines different sports training principals to amplify athletic performance.
