2018 Summer Day Camp

Today, day camp is more vital than ever. To deliver on the Y’s commitment to nurture the potential of every child and teen, day camp fosters achievement, relationships, and belonging. These are essential dimensions of well-being that the Y cultivates through day camp:

Discovering Skills (achievement). Campers experience achievement when they try different activities, learn what they like, and discover what they are good at.

Building Friendships. Campers have the opportunity to form healthy relationships with other children, caring adults, and role models which helps them feel good about themselves and learn to get along with others.

Finding a Place to Belong. Campers connect through significant camp traditions and rituals that create a sense of belonging, so they feel included, accepted, and part of a community.

AGES: 5-12

OPERATIONAL HOURS: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-6:00pm

Atlantis: June 4-8

Desert Oasis: June 11-15

Greek Greatness: June 18-22

Hawaiian Hullabaloo: June 25-29

EXPLORATION

Party in the USA: July 2-6

Raiders of the Lost Artifact: July 9-13

Pirates: July 16-20

Space: July 23-27

CHALLENGE WEEK

Camp's Got Talent: July 30-Aug 3

*The YMCA Day Camp will be closed July 4, it is a prorated week.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

At the Y, we think summer is a time every child deserves. Financial Assistance is available to those who apply and qualify through funds generated from the YMCA Annual Campaign. The YMCA of the Palm Beaches also accepts ELC funding and County funding vouchers for summer day camp.

HOW TO REGISTER

Register in person at the YMCA of the Palm Beaches Welcome Center desk. Parents/guardians are required to fill out emergency and medical information packets due at registration.

In order to reserve your spot in camp each week, a scheduled draft with a valid credit or debit card is required, or, a 20% non-refundable deposit per week paid up front.
